Connor Pattinson.
Lawyer | Commercial
Connor Pattinson joined Bradley & Bray Lawyers in October 2023 and was admitted to the profession in 2025.
He was actually in his final year of training as a paramedic before making the leap to his true calling in law. Connor discovered his passion when he began working for a Sunshine Coast firm in 2019 as a legal/personal assistant, gaining hands-on experience across various areas of law. Around the same time, he started his introductory law studies. But Connor isn’t just familiar with the legal world – his resume also includes a long stint in hospitality stretching back to 2014.
What drives Connor is his passion for simplifying the complexities of commercial law to make it more accessible to clients. He envisions a future where legal systems are modernised and made simpler, particularly in the realm of leases where there are unnecessary complexities, particularly when we have alternatives that deal with all the important terms of a lease. He draws inspiration from standard forms like the Commercial Tenancy Agreement (CTA) and Retail Tenancy Agreement (RTA), and endeavours to create similar user-friendly documents that bring clarity and certainty to lease agreements. Connor is determined to solve this issue during his career.
But it's not all about law for Connor. He's known for telling terrible jokes and questioning everything. He’s also a whizz at tackling complex technology challenges that seem to only happen to him – he’s not sure why but he will wrestle with them until they’re solved!
Connor’s fun fact is his knack for remembering numbers, however he says that unfortunately it doesn’t extend to mathematical genius!
When he's not immersed in his professional and academic commitments, you'll find Connor at the gym, conquering the rock-climbing mountains of the Glass House Mountains like Mt Tibrogargan or Beerwah, or making the most of quality time with his wife and baby. Together, they explore new experiences, with swimming being a favourite shared activity, one which Connor says is the highlight of his week.
With a commitment to follow in the footsteps of his father and mentor Tony, Connor is poised to make a lasting impact in the legal field while also savouring the moments that matter most outside of the office.
