David is a Practice Group Leader within Bradley & Bray’s Commercial & Property team, bringing broad experience across commercial agreements, property, business, litigation and dispute resolution. He takes a practical, solutions-focused approach to helping clients navigate complex legal matters, with a strong focus on clear communication and achieving workable outcomes.
David brings extensive experience in legal practice management, regulatory compliance and legal technology to the firm, and has a particular interest in finding smarter and more efficient ways of working. His passion for technology has led him to develop web-based platforms, workflow systems and AI solutions designed to simplify legal processes and improve the experience for both clients and colleagues alike.
David’s career in law was something of an unexpected journey. After serving in the military, he returned to study later in life, discovering an aptitude for law and ultimately qualifying as a solicitor in England and Wales before moving to Australia and being admitted in New South Wales.
Outside of work, David enjoys property renovation, golf, swimming, running and spending time outdoors. He has renovated properties for more than 20 years and still enjoys getting stuck into the practical side of tiling, plastering and carpentry. He also enjoys building web applications and experimenting with coding and AI.
After moving from the UK to Australia in 2013, David has called Sydney, Melbourne and Queensland home. He is now happily settled on the Gold Coast with his wife Emma, their three cats and their much-loved Rottweiler.
