Receptionist
Colleen is the friendly face (and voice) that welcomes clients to our firm and helps keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes. With a naturally approachable style and a knack for organisation, she makes sure everyone feels at ease and well looked after from their very first interaction with our firm.
Colleen brings over 30 years of experience working in Australian, British and American law firms, with roles spanning receptionist, legal assistant and paralegal. She also holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of London, although she’ll be the first to say it was a little while ago!
She genuinely enjoys helping people and takes pride in going the extra mile for clients and her team. She’s always keen to learn something new and values honesty, reliability and great service in everything she does.
One of the highlights of her career was being part of the legal team seconded to the Royal Commission into Family Violence in Victoria, an experience she found both meaningful and rewarding.
Known around the office for being friendly, organised and a great multitasker, Colleen keeps all the moving parts ticking along with calm efficiency.
Outside of work, she loves reading just about anything, travelling (she’s visited 30 countries, with Egypt, Turkey and Iceland among her favourites), and spending time with her family, where you can find her at the beach or out and about exploring the Sunny Coast. And with all of that work, parenting and play, she says there’s never a dull moment!
